It is my honor, as Vice President of the Organizing Committee to welcome you to the 2025 ICRR to be held in Mexico City from November 18 to 21, 2025.

This will be a unique opportunity to meet with experts and professionals from diverse fields to share their knowledge and expertise on rehabilitation, on this occasion focusing on pain and inflammation.

Contributions on this topic will be analyzed and discussed in multidisciplinary activities for their latest advancements in the field.

We invite you to actively participate in the congress by submitting your abstract. Your participation will surely contribute to making our reunion a successful scientific event.

In addition to the scientific sessions, we have planned cultural and sports activities that will allow participants to mingle and enjoy our hospitality and rich culture of our city.

Speakers

  • Carlos Pineda, PhD

    He completed his medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad La Salle. He received his training as a specialist in rheumatology from the Ignacio Chávez National Institute of Cardiology. In 2011, he completed a master’s degree in health sciences, endorsed by the National Polytechnic Institute, and received an Honorable Mention. Later, in 2015, he completed a PhD in Biological and Health Sciences at the Metropolitan Autonomous University, earning a medal for University Merit. He is a member of multiple medical societies, having served as president of the Mexican Council of Rheumatology from 1998 to 1999 and of the Mexican College of Rheumatology from 2004 to 2005. In his teaching activities, he is currently a professor of the undergraduate course in rheumatology at the Universidad la Salle, as well as a Titular professor of the PAEM in Ultrasound in Rheumatology, which has been recognized by the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), certified by the Mexican Council of Rheumatology, and the Mexican Council of Internal Medicine. He has authored over 100 publications and has been a speaker at numerous national and international scientific conferences and congresses. His main research interests are ultrasound in rheumatology. Currently serving as director of the National Institute of Rehabilitation "Luis Guillermo Ibarra Ibarra", where he has been characterized by impeccable work since 2021, the year of his appointment.

  • Jennifer Hincapie Sanchez

    Director of the University Program of Bioethics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Professor "A" Definitive of the Faculty of Medicine of the UNAM.

    PhD in Philosophy from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, Master's and Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from the Universidad del Valle, in Cali – Colombia. She belongs to the National System of Researchers of Level 1 (SNII). He is a member of the UNESCO BIOETHICS Network, a member of the Council of the Bioethics Commission of Mexico City, a Member of the Colombian Society of Philosophy and a Member of the Ibero-American Network of Health Law.

    He has published the books: "Medicine in the digital era: scope and perspectives". National Autonomous University of Mexico, "Selected Topics in Bioethics II". Editorial Tirant Lo Blanch "Selected Topics in Bioethics", Editorial Tirant Lo Blanch, Digital Book "Bioethics: Theories and Principles Transversal Teaching in Bioethics and Biolaw" Institute of Legal Research, .   • Finn-Tore Camacho Bjørnsand

    Finn-Tore Camacho Bjørnsand, MNMF, is a Physiotherapist, Level 2 Hintsa Performance Coach, and General Manager of Muskelklinikken in Norway. He is the founder of several health and performance initiatives, including Sportsklinikken, Oslo Performance Center, Posthallen Trening, and the Norwegian Sports and Health Institute, as well as digital platforms such as Coach Camacho App and Finn-Tore’s Podcast.

    He holds a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from Saxion University (Netherlands) and a Master’s in Athletic Therapy from the National University of Medical Sciences (Spain), complemented by training in Manual Therapy, Osteopathy, Sports Psychology, and Exercise Nutrition.

    His clinical focus lies in sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, and complex pain, adopting an evidence-based holistic approach that integrates ultrasound diagnostics, injection therapy, and shockwave therapy.

    An esteemed educator and international lecturer, he fosters interdisciplinary collaboration and professional development for therapists and coaches. He has served as President of the Private Practitioners’ Physiotherapists Association (PFF) and as a Council Member for Musculoskeletal Health. Since 2020, he has conducted research on regenerative medicine for musculoskeletal and sports conditions.

    Fluent in Norwegian, English, and Spanish, he is recognized for his leadership in human performance, musculoskeletal health, and clinical innovation.
